Ring-hardware is the connective tissue of bag construction — D-rings anchor shoulder straps, O-rings link chains to clasps, and rectangular rings route adjustable straps. While these components are small, their failure has outsized consequences: a broken ring means a dropped bag, damaged contents, and a disappointed customer. A: Die-cast O-rings are seamless — no weld point, making them ideal for high-visibility applications where aesthetics matter. Welded wire O-rings offer higher tensile strength at a lower cost, making them better for load-bearing connections where the weld is hidden inside a strap loop.
